Week 11

EOB week aka hell week, somehow I managed to survive and not fail any of the modules. Did surprisingly well which is always a plus especially when you are getting tested on about 32 lectures worth on material in 3 hours in 100 questions.

Day light savings or "spring forward" really made the beginning of the week painful getting out of bed in the morning. Especially since it has just started to get lighter in the morning. Not gonna lie though the sun not setting until 7pm is pretty nice and makes study at night a lot easier.

Of course the week of EOB I have practice lab which involved lots of prep and tutorials all day Monday and Tuesday morning. Practice lab this week was actually my favorite so far since we made blister packs with M&Ms and Skittles which did not last long. This practice lab was also our first time interacting with simulated patients, which are actors that have no health care background so it seems as if we are interreacting with a real patient.

That binder and those two sketchbooks encompassed all of the 32 lectures that I got tested on Wednesday. This term I have barely gone to Starbucks, maybe 5 times total. Always nice to treat myself to study in Starbucks especially when I am having a very busy week.

After EOB #2, I desperately need a break. We had a 3 day weekend and Monday my lab section did not start until 2pm so I decided to fly down to Seattle and take a break around my family. I did not even start studying until Saturday night for my quiz on Wednesday and I don't even regret it. Read week 12 coming soon for an update.

My best friend and I were home at the same time for once so of course we had to do something. We went to Pike Place Market which was the best idea since that day Seattle was so sunny and warm . A sunny day in Seattle always puts me in the best mood.

My new obsession has been That 70's Show. The episodes are 20 minutes long so it makes a great study break. I mean everyone needs a little bit of comedy to break up the studying.
