Working from home is the reality and is definitely a difficult transition. Whether your ideal study space involved coffee shops, or in person lectures kept you accountable, it is difficult to stay motivated....period. Unfortunately this is the new normal for many, as many schools, including my own, have announced that online learning will continue until 2021.

Try to maintain your morning routine as much as possible; whether that's working out first thing in the morning, getting ready, or making breakfast. Those extra 30 minutes or more you save from commuting, set aside towards a routine. Rolling out of bed and moving straight to the computer may work for some, but allowing yourself to wake up will make it easier to pay attention during the lecture.

The weeks can get overwhelming with everything transitioning to online, so making a schedule is key. Personally, I find it easier to have a visual of my week at all times so my Passion Planner is a life saver since it keeps me accountable
Note: I will be eventually showing how I plan using the Passion Planner and why it has been my go to planner for 5 years

Pro tip: so your coffee stays hot the whole lecture, rather than using a mug, use a tumblr just as you would in an in-person lecture

It can be hard to be productive by spending all your time in your bedroom, even if that use to be your go to study space. Setting up in another place in house (if feasible) gives a change of scenery. Getting out of bed and leaving your room for lectures can mimic the routine you use to having with in-person lectures.

It will be a transition but maintaining a routine just like you would with in-person classes, can make the transition that much easier
